Have a Lush Experience!
Tulsa's own Spotlight Theatre and home of The Drunkard, that old fashioned melodrama, is looking for some new faces. It doesn't matter whether you've ever set foot on stage or not, you can still be a part of the Spotlight Family. We've always presented "family entertainment" -because you shouldn't be embarrassed or have to apologize for what your kids see or hear on stage. We believed that in 1953 and we believe it even more today.
Why not become part of the most enjoyable and rewarding self-improvement program on the planet, while helping charities and supporting the arts at the same time? You can decide where you fit best, but if you hang around you might just surprise yourself and a lot of other people with what you can do. (Someone said that performing on our stage is "the most fun you can have with all your clothes on" -it might be true, but we don't go there at The Spotlight. Remember, it's family entertainment!)
In 1953, when The Drunkard debuted, Shane, The African Queen and The Greatest Show on Earth were playing in movie houses across America. Most people today have never even heard of those great movies - but, The Drunkard is still playing in Tulsa.
Join the tradition of The Tulsa Spotlight Theatre. It's a family affair.
