Audition Schedule

"The Drunkard"

We continuously hold open auditions during our regular wednesday evening rehearsals.   We are currently in particuliar need of the following:

Switchel:  A handy man for Judge Hammond and a country bumpkin who is also a tippler.  This part calls for a middle aged male.

Frank Slade: The son of Simon Slade.  This part calls for a young man preferably over the age of 16 years of age or over, but will consider slightly younger.

Mary Morgan: The daughter of Mrs. Morgan and the Drunkard.  This part calls for a young lady of 16 years of age or over, but will consider slightly younger.

The Olio

The theatre is promoted as rated for general audiences and definately rated "G".  We will not consider any "off-color" acts of any kind.   Singers are encouraged not to sing religious songs as we are non-denominational and non-political.  We want entertainment that will appeal to all audiences.

The Spotlight stage has been a starting point for many performers who have gone on to national fame after starting on our stage at a very young age.  We have performers from 5 to 100 years old. Age is not a factor

The olio is a vaudeville type of act.  While we look for traditional type of performers, we are open to all types of talent.  If you have a unique type of talent that goes over well with general audiences, we would be interested.  We are currently looking for the following in particular:

Dancers: Tap seems to go over very well; but we will consider others.

Comedy acts: Remember, no off-color stuff.
